Passenger transport in the District has undergone some significant changes and improvements, for our community to access services, ensuring key information is simple and accessible.
Horizons Regional Council is working with Whanganui District Council to upgrade bus shelters at 17 key locations around the Whanganui public transport network, installing bus shelters with accessibility and lighting improvements, as well as real-time digital information boards.
With all recent changes, Horizons Regional Council would like to hear your feedback on local public transport services, and on-street bus stop facilities in Whanganui. The survey takes only 5-7 minutes to complete.
Every survey respondent is important – older, younger, car owner, non-car owner, those who walk, those who travel a lot, and those who don’t travel much.
This survey is anonymous, your individual responses will not be passed onto the Councils. SIL Research, an independent Market Research company, is conducting this survey on behalf of Horizons Regional Council.
At the end of this survey, you can go into the draw for 5 chances to win one of 5 x $100 supermarket vouchers.
If you would like to contact someone regarding this research, please feel free to contact Jayme Thorby from Horizons Regional Council on 021 853 402.
