Survey on “Guidance on how to build a metaverse for all”

Background

Ensuring equity, accessibility and inclusivity in the development of the metaverse is of utmost importance, and this is the work of the ITU Focus Group on metaverse under its Working Group 8 on Sustainability, Accessibility and Inclusion. This survey is on “Guidance on how to build a metaverse for all”. Its primary objective is to offer a comprehensive understanding of the current state of metaverse development, identify the key challenges that hinder the achievement of equity, accessibility and inclusivity within the metaverse, and propose potential roadmaps towards constructing a metaverse that benefits all individuals.
