About Our Volunteer Roles

Our volunteers assist in our Retirement Living Communities in the following ways:

  • Assist with programs, including arranging daily activities, outings, and schedules.
  • Provide assistance maintaining the plants and gardens.
  • Provide or assist with participant transportation in fleet vehicles.
  • Share their special talent or interest in leisure and social activities.
  • Administration tasks and maintaining records and information.
  • Driving fleet vehicles as required.
  • Other tasks as required.

  • All our volunteers follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof they have received a minimum of one primary COVID-19 vaccination before commencement.
  • Volunteers must have a current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance before commencement. You can apply for this through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
