NT Skilled Occupational Priority List (NTSOPL) 2026

The Industry Skills Advisory Council NT (ISACNT) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that provides advice and gathers intelligence on workforce development, training package development, skill shortages, and workforce solutions in the Northern Territory.

The purpose of the NTSOPL survey is to understand your workforce profile, what job roles you employ, if you currently have a staff shortage or predict a staff shortage in the upcoming 12 months, and what difficulties you experience when attracting and/or retaining workers.

Your answers to the questions will help identify occupations that are hard to fill in the NT and categorise those occupations as high priority or priority. Information from this survey will assist the Northern Territory Government in making funding and policy decisions on training and migration.
