Along with the rest of the country, UK manufacturing has entered a period of uncertainty not seen since the 2007 financial crisis. The UK government is seeking to build a modern industrial strategy to address the needs of sectors, places and people. At the same time the UK’s decision to leave the EU will affect funding, operating costs, markets, access to skilled workers and support.
New risks and opportunities may come our way. But what will change? When? What sectors and regions will be affected? How might individual companies gain or lose out?
The Manufacturer’s Quarterly EU Exit (TMQuEUE) survey aims to help UK manufacturers and their supporters make sense of the emerging position throughout the negotiations. So if you care about the industry and you want to:
