Along with the rest of the country, UK manufacturing has entered a period of uncertainty not seen since the 2007 financial crisis. The UK government is seeking to build a modern industrial strategy to address the needs of sectors, places and people. At the same time the UK’s decision to leave the EU will affect funding, operating costs, markets, access to skilled workers and support.

New risks and opportunities may come our way. But what will change? When? What sectors and regions will be affected? How might individual companies gain or lose out?

The Manufacturer’s Quarterly EU Exit (TMQuEUE) survey aims to help UK manufacturers and their supporters make sense of the emerging position throughout the negotiations. So if you care about the industry and you want to:

·         track your own preparations for EU withdrawal as the negotiations proceed;
·         benchmark your readiness against peers; and
·         potentially influence the negotiations by being part of this uniquely informative research

.. then this survey needs you!

Our TMQuEUE survey brought to you by The Manufacturer Collaboratory, should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Then every three months or so The Manufacturer will publish benchmark levels of expected impacts of EU exit by company size, sector, type and place. Your individual responses will remain confidential in the aggregated results. And if you are not already a member of The Manufacturer Collaboratory we will invite you to join without obligation, subject to eligibility. It is free to UK Manufacturers and Buyers of UK manufactured products and services.

Thank you for your support for the future of UK manufacturing.
