$175 Menlo Park Technology Study

Study Details

Thank you for your interest in the Menlo Park Technology study paying $175 for 90 minutes of your time.

The purpose of the study is to collect videos of people as they move around in furnished rooms. Participants will be asked to make simple movements, like crouching, raising both hands in the air, turning their head in different directions, and more, as well as potentially trying different foods.

3.Are you proficient in written and spoken English?(Required.)
4.Do you have normal or corrected-to-normal vision (with glasses/contacts) and normal hearing?(Required.)
5.Do you have full use of both hands and feet?(Required.)
6.Actions required may include turning and tilting the head, turning around in a circle, crouching, bowing, waving, raising your arms, doing a small jump in the air, and clasping your hands together. Are you comfortable performing these non-strenuous actions in a furnished space?(Required.)
7.Do you have any severe food allergies that would prevent you from safely participating in a study that involves tasting, handling, or being in the presence of various food items?

Please note that while the study team will disinfect the facilities after each participant's session, it cannot be guaranteed that trace amounts of food will not be left over from a previous session. Some examples of foods are almonds, chips, and yogurt.(Required.)

9.Are you willing and able to eat different types of food as part of the study? Foods eaten for the study will range from soft things like yogurt to harder crunchy things like almonds or chips.(Required.)
10.Are you willing to put on and wear various accessories such as hats, watches, scarves, headphones, bracelets, and necklaces?(Required.)
11.Are you able to lift light fitness weights that are approximately 1-2 pounds?(Required.)
12.Are you available to travel to the study site in Menlo Park between the hours of 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM? The exact date will be determined based off your availability if you qualify.(Required.)
