The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is studying the SR 417 Sanford Airport Connector as part of efforts to improve local and regional connectivity. This project aims to help alleviate traffic on local roads, such as East Lake Mary Boulevard and Ronald Reagan Boulevard, and meet the growing demands of residents and businesses in the area that rely on SR 417. CFX is collaborating with Seminole County, Orlando Sanford International Airport, and other stakeholders to explore solutions that will support long-term transportation needs while accommodating future growth.
