The Cal-IPGCA Board of Directors is pleased to announce 1 open Board of Director position offering you a unique opportunity to serve! Thank you for your interest in serving as a Director of the Cal-IPGCA Association. Serving on the board is a rewarding experience and an opportunity for personal and professional growth, but more than that, if you want to drive change and innovation by serving in the leadership of an association that propels a movement of activists and doers then you should apply! Completing this form will help you understand the skills and time/resource commitments of this leadership position.
The Cal-IPGCA Association was formed in 2017 by the graduating class of Cohort 2017. Cal-IPGCA membership is free and is open to all. We welcome government employees, private sector, academia, students and society-at-large!

Open until filled: The Social Media position shall remain open until filled. This position carries a two-year term, with one year remaining, until April 1, 2022. This position will be an appointment by the current board to serve the one-year term remaining.
Cal-IPGCA Board of Director Responsibilities:
1. Positions are two-year terms with no more than two consecutive terms in the same position. 2. Attends a minimum of two (2) events each month (includes board meetings, committee meetings and/or Cal-IPGCA Program Events). 3. The Full Board of Directors meets virtually on a semi-monthly basis. 4. Makes a serious commitment to participate actively in Cal-IPGCA Association Activities. 5. Cal-IPGCA Association is a working board where each director chairs a committee. 6. Stays informed about committee matters. is prepared for meetings, and reviews and comments on minutes and reports. 7. Builds a collegial working relationship with other committee members that contributes to consensus. 8. When possible, participates in Cal-IPGCA program events and Cal-IPGCA Association Mixers. 9. Participates in the advancement of the Cal-IPGCA strategic plan.
