The FWC is responsible for managing Florida's fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and for the benefit of people. Based on input from FWC staff and stakeholders, the FWC is considering changes to antlerless deer regulations on lands outside of the WMA system to increase opportunities for antlerless deer harvest. The FWC is seeking your input on these proposed changes through this online commenting tool.
FWC Commissioners will consider the proposed rule changes for final adoption at their Feb. 26 - 27, 2025, meeting. If adopted, these rules will take effect on July 1, 2025, and be in place for the 2025-2026 hunting season.
