By statute, all New Mexico schools are required to administer the Quality of Education Survey to parents on an annual basis. The Quality of Education Survey contains 20 questions. The first 10 are provided by the Public Education Department. The next five are developed by the local board of education, and the last five are developed by each individual school. Schools and districts are required to report the annual results from the Quality of Education Survey to their communities and the New Mexico Public Education Department.
