Introduction

Neurodivergent individuals are those whose brain functions differ from those who are neurologically typical, or neurotypical. Related conditions include but are not limited to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum, dyslexia, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Studies have shown that neurodivergent individuals have unique skills and abilities to offer in the workplace but also tend to have difficulty thriving in work environments that are designed for neurotypical individuals.

We have created this survey in an effort to more fully understand the experiences and needs of neurodivergent individuals in the workplace. This survey is designed to be completed by individuals who identify as neurodivergent (regardless of an official diagnosis) and who have either worked recently or currently work in an office, corporate, or headquarters setting, either onsite or remotely.

The survey is 20 questions and should take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete. In addition to the survey, we’re looking for individuals to participate in focus groups to further the scope of our understanding. Please contact Leah Dugan at leah@holisticindex.com if you want to learn more about this project or become involved.
