The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association is a patient advocacy group focused on supporting our over 15,000 members globally, individuals diagnosed with ADEM, AFM, MOGAD, NMOSD, ON and TM, their families, caregivers and medical professionals specializing in these rare neuroimmune disorders.
The SRNA James T. Lubin Clinician-Scientist Fellowship Award, established in 2008, supports the post-residency training of clinicians committed to careers in academic medicine specializing in rare neuroimmune disorders of the CNS (e.g., ADEM, AFM, MOGAD, NMOSD, ON, and TM) clinical care and research. This program supports up to two years of clinical care and research training. After completing the program, Fellows should be prepared for a combined clinical and research career, directing robust research programs important to ADEM, AFM, MOGAD, NMOSD, ON, and TM in their clinical department. The number of the James T. Lubin Clinician Scientist Fellowships awarded each year will be based on the availability of funds to support this program.
The Siegel Rare Neuroimmune Association is looking to expand this Fellowship to other institutions to be able to offer training at additional sites throughout the country.
