Dear SMFM member,

This survey is intended to create a benchmark for ultrasound practice among SMFM members. The data collected will help members identify performance gaps and workflow inefficiencies in ultrasound and enable them to refine and improve their workflow processes. It will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. We aim to provide SMFM membership with the most accurate information, so please obtain the following information beforehand from your manager or other source prior to completing the survey.
  1. Number of FTE physicians in your practice (e.g. 4.0, or 3.4, etc.)
  2. Number of patients scheduled per 8-hour day for each sonographer
  3. Number of patients scheduled per 8-hour day for each physician
  4. Number of minutes allocated for the detailed fetal anatomy survey (76811) per fetus
  5. Frequency of billing and/or quality audits (daily, weekly, quarterly, etc.)
  6. Is the equipment purchased, leased, or both, and how often it is replaced.
  7. Ergonomic considerations (furniture, schedule, etc.) applied to prevent sonographer injury
  8. Dollar amount (if any) allocated for each sonographer education
  9. Protected time (if any) for the sonographer lead or ultrasound physician lead
  10. Specific AIUM accreditation by your practice (e.g. detailed fetal anatomy, fetal echocardiography, etc.)

Thank you for participating in our survey. Your feedback is important!

Those who complete the survey by the deadline will be entered into a drawing to receive a one-year complimentary membership to SMFM. Five winners will be selected and notified by Wednesday, April 2.
