Carers NSW is excited to announce the inaugural Carer Knowledge Exchange (CKE) Early Career Research Forum on Carer Research, a unique opportunity for emerging scholars to present their work, engage with peers, and contribute to the growing field of carer research.
The Forum will be the first session of the Carer Knowledge Exchange Research Incubator 2025, an annual event that aims to bring together researchers, policy makers, practitioners and carers to share their knowledge and learn from each other.

Date: Monday, 26 May 2025
Location: UNSW Business School, Kensington Campus
Format: In-person

Submission guidelines:

The Forum will feature a series of short presentations (10 minutes each with 5 minutes for questions), for which abstracts are invited from early career researchers (PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career academics) on carer-related topics, including but not limited to:
  • The experiences and challenges of carers
  • Carer-related policy and practice
  • Innovative interventions and supports for carers
  • Carer health and wellbeing

Please submit your abstract via this online form by close of business Friday 18 April 2025 to be considered for inclusion in the program.
