CSU Fresno Central Utility Plant Tour Request Form |
Thank you for your interest in taking a tour of the Fresno State Central Utility Plant (CUP)! We are excited to share this construction and engineering marvel with the community through our Green Opportunity program. This tour will be lead by a knowledgeable tour guide with on-site experience working in the CUP. Tours will typically last about 30 minutes and include an overview of the various pieces of operational equipment installed in the plant, the processes involved in supplying heating, cooling, and domestic hot water to campus, and other engineering or operational topics that arise. We will allow time for questions during the tour.
The recommended tour group size is 8-10 people. If your requested tour group is larger, it will be split into smaller groups to accommodate space constraints of the boiler and chiller plants. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please include those in the notes section at the bottom of the tour request form.
Tour considerations:
- No food or drinks permitted on the tour
- Tour waivers must be signed prior to tour start
- Closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times
- Provided safety gear must be worn at all times (gear may vary depending on time of day, season, and operational status of the plant)
