Introduction

Qatalyst Research Group, an independent consulting firm, has been hired by the FNHA to conduct two major concurrent evaluations:
  • Evaluation of the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), which will tell the story of the FNHA’s progress against its mission, goals and strategies over the past five years, including aligning its health programs with First Nations perspectives and ways of knowing and being.
  • Evaluation of the BC Tripartite Framework Agreement (BC TFA), which will tell the story of the Health Governance Partnership’s progress over the past five years.
The evaluations will be completed in early 2025. They do not cover Health Benefits, including Pharmacy and Medical Transportation, which will be evaluated separately in the next two years.

The results of the evaluations will support decision-making, continuous learning, improvements at the FNHA, and partner efforts in learning, growing and maturing their relationship to advance shared goals.
Invitation to participate in a survey
We are surveying community members and health leaders to gather input on health programs and services and opportunities for improvement. This includes programs and services funded or delivered by the FNHA as well as those delivered by health system partners. Your views are critical to the evaluation.

Participate and win!
At the end of the survey, you may choose to provide your contact information for an opportunity to enter random monthly draws to win a $50 gift card. All survey participants are eligible to enter this draw.

Participation is voluntary
This survey will take about 10 to 20 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and you can stop at any time. Your choice to participate will not affect your relationship with the FNHA. For most questions, you can skip any that you do not wish to answer and continue to the next one. Skipping a question will not affect your eligibility to enter the draw for a gift card.

Your information is protected
The information you provide is for the purpose of the two evaluations only. Your survey responses will be stored securely in our data files and kept confidential. The information will be deleted once the evaluations are complete. No comments will be attributed to any individual in any reports resulting from the evaluations.

You must be at least 14 years old to respond to the survey by yourself. A parent, guardian or legal representative may respond to the survey on behalf of a child under 14 years of age, or a person 14 years of age or older who is not capable of responding to the survey by themselves.
