At Wesley Mission Queensland, you will find a new way of thinking about volunteering in Residential Aged Care. With the support of our volunteers, we encourage our residents to build connections, have fun and celebrate life - all while receiving the care they need.

Our Residential Aged Care Communities are the only ones in Queensland registered with the Eden Alternative™ philosophy of care, which focuses on eliminating loneliness, helplessness and boredom and promoting meaningful relationships and companionship.

Wheller Gardens in Chermside is a hidden gem in Brisbane's northern suburbs. Situated in Chermside, Wheller Gardens is home to many different services, from Queensland's only children's hospice, Hummingbird House, to community therapy centres and retirement villages. It is also home to four of Wesley Mission Queensland's residential aged care homes.

Emmaus Village consists of five courts that share bright walkways and natural vistas. Each court has its own dining room and social gathering space, whilst the verandas are the perfect place to catch up, relax and enjoy the beautiful Queensland weather.

Wheller Gardens is close to public transport, Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre, services, and amenities. Free parking is also available on-site.
