Copyright Works / Patient Images

Accreditation of continuing professional development (CPD) events requires participating physician organizations to have management processes in place to support the proper handling of copyright works and patient images. The CDA asks all individuals providing content for a CPD event to acknowledge responsibility for obtaining appropriate permissions by providing an attestation.
ATTESTATION

I, the undersigned, understand I am solely responsible for obtaining appropriate permission of all copyright works and/or patient images used in my presentation and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the CDA from any and all claims arising from or related to any infringement or related claims associated with the CDA’s use of the presentation and/or associated materials.
