Have your say: Help Renew the Entry-to-Practice Competencies for Medical Radiation Technology

The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is inviting medical radiation technologists to join a short-term subject matter expert committee. The purpose is to review and revise the entry-to-practice competency profile and supporting companion documents for radiological technology, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, and radiation therapy.

Why Participate?

This is a great opportunity to contribute your expertise and ensure the entry-to-practice competencies are aligned with current practice in the field. CAMPROF Canada has been selected to manage the process and facilitate stakeholder engagement on behalf of CAMRT.

We Are Looking For:
  • Certified MRTs in one or more of the four disciplines.
  • Availability up to 10 hours between May 10 and June 10, 2025, including virtual meetings.
  • Professionals with diverse backgrounds who are currently working in patient/client care or those in supervisory, educator, or management roles.
What’s Involved:

As a volunteer committee member, your time will be an important in-kind contribution to the profession. Together, the committee will review and update the competencies to ensure they reflect current standards and practices.

How to Apply:

If you are interested, please submit your information using the online form below. CAMRT and CAMPROF Canada will review all applications. Each committee will be limited to 10 members, with selection based on individual background and the overall representativeness of the profession. If you need to, you can take a break and return to the application at a later time, but be sure to use the same browser and device. At the end of the form, you can choose to enter your email address and you will be sent a copy of your application for your record.

Thank you for your interest! We look forward to hearing from you and will respond to all applicants who provide accurate contact details.
