For the purposes of this survey, advisory can be called by different names but should be understood as regularly scheduled times when students have the opportunity to interact with a small group of peers and a teacher-advisor to discuss school and personal concerns. This group may be grade level or multi-grade level and the advisor may or may not remain together with the same group of students during their time at the school. In addition to relationship building, this time might be spent conducting academic check ins with the advisor, implementing SEL or career exploration curriculum, developing executive functioning skills, etc. This does NOT include intervention periods.
