Māngere is an active housing market, but some families living in Māngere are not accessing appropriate, available support for their housing needs.

Moana Connect wants to identify and reflect through talanoa the lived experiences and stories of families who have struggled to buy a home, struggled to maintain housing/ mortgage payments, and/or lost their homes unintentionally.

Moana Connect also wants to identify what supports are available and what supports are effective in helping families address their housing needs.
