There is a strong sense of community in Bournemouth and private renters make up 25% of that community. For years renters’ experiences of disrepair and poor conditions have been ignored, and with rents now becoming increasingly unaffordable, things are only getting worse.
Do you rent privately from a landlord or letting agency? Are you renting now, have you ever rented? Or have you tried to rent? We want to hear from you!
Complete this short survey, it will take 7 minutes, to share your voice. This will help us to identify the biggest problems with Bournemouth’s renting system, and the solutions local renters need.
Join us in a campaign for change!
Shelter’s community organiser in Bournemouth stand with people to fight for home. We help people tackle the housing issues affecting them in their own neighbourhoods and communities. We support people with the skills, resources, knowledge and guidance to build people-powered campaigns to make change happen.
And we won’t stop until the housing emergency does.

All information will be anonymised when we share the findings externally, and only the project group will have access to the survey responses. We ask for some personal data so we can understand the issues experienced by different groups, but we have provided a 'prefer not to say' option in case you would rather not share this information.
